Six Bulldogs claimed individual titles leading Brookfield to a team championship in Saturday's Gary Haag Invitational Boys Wrestling Tournament.
Xavier Sada (113: sudden victory, ultimate tiebreaker, major decision), Peyton Parn (132: pin, technical fall, md), Kameron Perry (144: 2 pins, tf, md, medical forfeit), Colton Parn (150: pin, tf, decision), Bridger Grimshaw (157: 3 pins), and Devon Parn (190: 3 pins, decision) each captured gold for the Bulldogs, who outpointed Centralia by 10 points, 89-79, in the 19-team field.
Ryder Techau (126: 2 pins, decision), Cole Weaver (138: 2 decisions, pin), and Jackson Wattenbarger (285: 2 pins, decision) each won silver.
Michael Shepherd (106: pin) was fourth; Jayden Kyle was fifth, and Ekene Chukwu finished seventh.
Weston Linscott took gold at 138, winning five matches by fall, in the JV tournament. James LaBelle (132: pin, md, decision) was second; Blayde Lindsay (144: 3 pins) was third; and Zander Stufflebean (285) finished fifth.
The Bulldogs next wrestle in Tuesday's quad meet against Kirksville, Mexico and Palmyra.
