Maddie Wilbeck pumped in a game-high 19 points, guiding Brookfield to a 51-16 victory against Winston in last night's varsity girls basketball matchup.
Wilbeck (2 rebounds, 2 steals, assist) scored 15 points in the opening half, as the Bulldogs, who shot 43% from the floor and scored 22 points off turnovers, built a 26-11 lead at the break. Jerzi Fields (2 treys, 4 rebounds, 3 steals, block) scored seven of her 14 points in the third quarter, fueling a 17-3 run to put the game away.
Greenlee McCollum (2 rebounds, assist) scored eight points; Emma Meyer (2 steals) had six points; and Madi Lumsden (3 steals, 2 rebounds) and Breckin Thudium (7 rebounds, 4 steals, 2 assists) each had two points for the 'Dogs.
Emma Sensenich (steal, block), Maggie Bennett (3 rebounds, assist, steal), Haven Stufflebean (2 assists, rebound) and Gracyn Beckman (assist, steal) also contributed.
The Lady Bulldogs (6-8) host Palmyra tonight.
