Brunswick scored early and often, cruising to a 53-31 victory against Brookfield in varsity girls basketball last night.

The Wildcats scored 18 points from long range, en route to a 31-12 first half lead.

Greenlee McCollum (3 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals) led the Bulldogs with eight points, while Madi Lumdsen (3 rebounds, assist, block) scored six points, and Jerzi Fields (4 rebounds, 2 steals, assist) had five points.

Emma Sensenich (3 rebounds) netted four points; Maddie Wilbeck (3 rebounds, assist) and Emma Meyer (2 assists, rebound) each hit on a three; and Gracyn Beckman (3 rebounds, assist, steal) added two points. Maggie Bennett (3 rebounds, assist), Haven Stufflebean (2 rebounds) and Breckin Thudium (rebound) also contributed.

The Lady Bulldogs (6-12) host Clark County tonight.
