Brookfield opened its middle school wrestling season winning 32 of 45 matches in a quad meet against visiting Cameron, Kirksville and Moberly last night.
Emmet Haley led the Bulldogs with four wins, all by pin, while John Foster won three matches by pin. Cole Huwar (2 pins, decision), Tate Ludington (2 pins, decision) and Izaiyah Alaniz (2 decisions, pin) also won three matches. Mallory Black, Dylan Parn and Lewis Defries each took two matches by pin, and Brayden Grimshaw (pin, decision), Bentley Polson (technical fall, decision), Jace Keller (pin, decision) and Ryder Cochenour (pin, decision) also won two matches apiece. Mace Lambert and Logan Howell each won a match by pin.
The Bulldogs welcome Hallsville, Macon, Marceline and Trenton on Thursday.
