Brookfield earned a split of a doubleheader, as the Bulldogs "A" team beat Trenton, 32-25, in Tuesday's middle school basketball action.

Brock McLaury poured in 15 points, including four threes, to pace the Bulldogs, who drained six treys on the night. Alex Bennett collected nine points, while Layne Hoerrmann had four points, and Jaxon Sibley and Rhylan McFie each added two points.

Levi Holt netted six points, both treys, in the 'Dogs "B" team 32-12 defeat. Cole Sharp, Aiden Glasgow and Trenton Bunnell scored two points apiece.

The Bulldogs visit Putnam County in tonight's season finale.
